Child and Adult Care Food Program Flyer

Do you get children off the bus other than your own?  Grandchildren, neighbors children, nieces, nephews, any children?  Maybe their parents are at work or school and you keep them after school.  Maybe they have a younger brother or sister that you keep all day.  You qualify for assistance in feeding these children.  There are NO INCOME GUIDELINES!! 

EVERYONE QUALIFIES!  This program, the Child and Adult Care Food Program,  is funded by the Department of Education and the USDA.  It is sponsored by PRIDE Community Services.  Times are hard right now and everyone could use extra cash.  Our program is based on the number of participants we have.  The more participants we have, the better it is for everyone.  Here is an estimate on the reimbursement you could receive for feeding these children: 

This is reimbursement money.  It does not count as income.  You do not have to report it and you do not claim it on your taxes.

These reimbursement rates are based on the meal and/or snack, number of children and number of days claimed.

This program is intended for everyone.  Don’t worry, if you participate in this program; you are not knocking someone else out of receiving these funds.  It is available to everyone, they just have to call.  So please give us a call at 304-752-6868 to start receiving this benefit.  It’s “free money”.  Just ask for Christy or Crystal.  If we are unavailable, leave a message; we will call you back.
